Rules & Guidelines

Welcome to the 2008 Call For Entries section of SchweitzerLakedance.com. Congratulations, you've chosen to enter your movie into a festival that cares about a quality experience for you and their audience.

Here's are the rules and guidelines required to enter your movie into the Schweitzer Lakedance International Film Festival.

  1. You must be the holder of the rights to your entry and every component (music, talent, etc) of your entry, ie. Producer, or an authorized representative of the rights holder for film festival entry. View our rights page for more information.
  2. Your entry must meet our basic technical requirements: it must be visually and audibly projectable. This simply means we have to be able to watch and hear it without major issue. View our formats and technical page for more information.
  3. Your entry must be submitted on DVD or VHS, and can be exhibited from 35mm, DVD, and other digital formats. View our formats and technical page for more information.
  4. Your entry must be labeled clearly. View our labels page for more information.
  5. Your entry must be entered into the correct category, and must not be from one of our non-accepted genres. View our Categories & Genres page for more information.
  6. Your entry must be post-marked by the specified deadline, and be accompanied by the correct entry fee. View our Deadlines and Entry Fees page for more information.
  7. Choose one of the entry methods on our Entry Methods page.
