Labeling Your Entry

At Lakedance, we don't care which method you choose to label your movie, just please make sure it is clearly labeled.

If your entry in not in the English Language, please include as much information on your label in English as possible.

Labelling Methods

  • Use a permanent felt marker such as a Sharpie
  • Use the process and disc known as LightScribe
  • Use an inkjet disc printer and disc capable of being printed
  • Have your discs professionally screen printed
  • DO NOT USE A PAPER OR STICKER LABEL, they have been known to cause too many problems to list.

At a minimum, please include the following details on both the case and the DVD face itself:

  1. The Submittors Name, Phone #, and email address
  2. The Title of the Film
  3. The Total Running Time of the Film (TRT)
  4. The Aspect ratio of the movie on the disc.
  5. If submitted digitally via the Withoutabox service, include your tracking number provided by Withoutabox
  6. Any other important information such as whether it is a data disc with a file on it, and if so what that file's video and audio codec are.

Also, when addressing your packaging to Lakedance, please include at least the title of your film and the tracking number if available.
